That changed in 2017 when a partnership developed between Blumenthal Performing Arts, The Comedy Zone, and Queen City Comedy. Together, the trio of organizations opened the door for local comedians with The Improv Room at Stage Door Theater to perform in the heart of Charlotte, garnering more attention. The group didn’t stop there, they went on to launch the Queen City Comedy Experience (QCCE) in 2018. DL Hughley is a stand-up comedian, actor, and author who hosts his own nationally syndicated radio show in over 60 cities across the country.

DAN DONOHUE is a comedian, actor, and writer from Cape Cod, Massachusetts. He cut his teeth as a stand up in Boston before moving to Los Angeles where he regularly performs at the city’s iconic comedy venues.
